| Course contents : | The course is taught in French. It consists of two parts. The first is taught by Professor Guy Quaden and deals with European monetary integration (introduction to the European economic and monetary union, its organisation, its functioning, analysis of the single monetary policy, see the course on economic and monetary integration in Europe).
The second part of the course is taught by Professor Alain Jousten and discusses various current topics in economic policymaking - with a special focus on budgetary implications. Subjects covered include: fiscal competition in Europe and beyond, flat tax systems, the growth of indirect taxation, contingent fiscal expenditures. |
