Course contents :  This course includes two complementary aspects :
1) a visit to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg
2) the advanced study of substantive criminal law in the Belgian Penal Code as well as in different particular Belgian laws. The objective is to make the students able to manage a practical case.
Course objective :  the purpose of this course is to make the students able to resolve criminal cases
Prerequisites :  introduction to criminal law and criminology, criminal law, criminal procedure
Organization :  visit to the European Court of Human Rights.

Assessment :  oral examination
