| Course contents : | Essential elements of public law and Belgian administrative law. |

| Course objective : | The aim of the course is to provide students with the keys to understanding Belgian administrative law and how to access its sources, while taking into account the fact that the majority of students have not previously studied law or Belgian law. |

| Workshops : | Normative texts, decisions of jurisprudence and administrative acts will be analysed by the students, who will be questioned orally on the subjects during class. |

| Organization : | The course is ex cathedra. The teacher will regularly check that the students have understood everything properly. Students will be given plenty of time throughout the course to ask questions relating to the subject being taught. |

| Written notes : | Ph. Bouvier, Eléments de droit administratif, Bruxelles, De Boeck et Larcier, 2002. Students are not obliged to buy this work. It is simply an aid and can be found in the law library. |

| Assessment : | The exam will be written and will include four or five questions, including a QCM, horizontal questions, as well as a concrete case to solve. |
