Course contents :  This course will analyze harmonization directives in the area of trademarks, designs and models, and systems for community-wide protection.
Course objective :  To make students aware of the essentially European nature of the matter, and to encourage them to develop the instincts of a European legal expert
Prerequisites :  Basic understanding of the law governing trademarks, designs and models.
Workshops :  None
Organization :  10 three-hour class meetings during the first term.
Written notes :  Electronic synthesis of CJCE jurisprudence and that of the TPI, accessible at the website www .darts-ip.com
Assessment :  Oral examination
