Course contents :  The course is divided into 8 modules of 2 or 3 hours on the following topics:
Introduction and effect studies

Climatology applied to wind and solar components


Climatology applied to hydrology

Climatology applied to regional planning

Climatology applied to road winter maintenance

Climatology applied to wine growing

Climatology applied to wildfires prevention

Climatology applied to problems of health and tourism
Course objective :  To make become aware of the diversified aspects of the applications of climatology to managements of the territories and the human activities
Prerequisites :  Basic concepts in climatology and meteorology
Workshops :  Exercise to be solved in connection with a specific topic of application and visit of the automatic weather station of Mont Rigi Liege university Scientific station and a principal station of the operational system "météoroutes" of the MET
Organization :  Courses and practical work by meetings of 2 or 3 hours.

Reports to be written.
Written notes :  Succession of experiments of climatology applied drawn from research of the laboratory or acts of conferences, articles of reviews or work of end of studies.
Assessment :  Written examination: 15/20

Personal report: 5/20
