Course contents :  This course presents the fundamentals of thermodynamics with a focus on the applications to the environmental problems
Course objective :  To show the role of thermodynamics in the understanding of environmental problems.

To explain the basis concepts of thermodynamics allowing the evaluation of the sustainable character of some environmental options.
Prerequisites :  Fundamentals of physics
Workshops :  One application at the end of the lecture
Organization :  20h theoretical and 5h practical lecture during the first weeks of the degree
Written notes :  Copy of the slides available. Syllabus in preparation.
Assessment :  Oral based upon an example
