Course contents :  The course is devoted to the concepts of quantum mechanics and their application to simple model systems relevant for spectroscopy and quantum chemistry :
(i) Hamonic oscillator and vibrational spectroscopy
(ii) Rigid rotor and angular momentum
(iii) Hydrogen atom
Course objective :  Application of quantum mechanics concepts to chemistry
Prerequisites :  Basic notions in
- differential equations
-linear algebra
-Fourier Transform
Workshops :  15h of training exercises
Organization :  The course and the exercises are given at the first quarter

Assessment :  written exam on exercises
