| Course contents : | Introduction to dynamic data reconciliation.
Rational design of a redundant measurement system. Parameter identification in algebraic or differential systems Analysis of batch processes : synthesis, production planning, energy savings in the operation of batch processes. |

This is an elective course, the choice of topics to be analysed more in depth is generally linked to the research interest of the students and their thesis work. |

| Prerequisites : | Course SYST0004 or similar
Good skills in applied chemical thermodynamics, évaluation of physical properties and phase equilibria. Use of flowsheeting software Basic notions in statistics. |

| Workshops : | Use of modelling software. Numerical applications to illustrate the concepts discussed during the lectures. |
