Course contents :  
vegetable Partim

The course consists in two main parts.

Part one is based on 3 keywords (the title of the course) : 'Biology', 'Plant', 'Pluricellular'. These words are used as a guideline to explain the specific traits of plant cells, tissues, and organs. Functional aspects are included such as photosynthesis and transports.

Part two describes important groups such as algae, mosses, ferns, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms. Special emphasis is laid on evolutionary aspects of vegetative organisms and reproduction.

The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge in plant biology, so that students can understand the course of Plant Physiology that is on their schedule for the second quadrimestre.

4 afternoons on plant cells, tissues, anatomy and organography.
Organization :

Lessons and practicals are scheduled on monday afternoons, 1st quadimestre. Schedule of practicals will be established with students.
