Course objective :  - Overview of the different available systems for the production of recombinant proteins in eukaryotic organisms.

- Understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each system, so as to allow to select a system adapted to a specific protein and to a specific application.
Prerequisites :  Genetics and molecular biology (Biology BAC3 level).
Workshops :  No practicals.
Organization :  Lectures organised in half-day sessions between February and April. Time table to be discussed with the different trainees.
Written notes :  PowerPoint presentations.
Assessment :  Written exam (multiple choice questions).
