Course contents :  This part of Human Biochemistry aims to give to the student information about the mechanisms of integration of the great functions of the human body :

1. The intercellular communication

2. Hormonal regulation of energy metabolism

3.Gastric and bowels Hormones

4. Water and ions regulation

5. Growth

6. Reproduction hormonal regulation

7. Cytokines

8. Inflammation regulation.

9.Biochemistry of obesity
Course objective :  1. To complete the informations of General Biochemistry and of several parts Human Biochemistry from the previous module "Normal Human Body".

2. To perform integration of endocrine signals in order to allow the student to more easily understand Human Physiology.

3. To stimulate the integration of the knowledges already acquired.

4. To develop the critical point of view of the students by exposing the facts pro and countered certain assumptions still incompletely checked at the present time
Prerequisites :  Chemistry, Biology, Histology, Biochemistry, general and human Physiology.
Workshops :  No practical course

Written notes :  A text book is available. The students will also have the access to the computer files of the illustrations of the lectures. Several references text books are also suggested.
Assessment :  Written examination with open questions on the lectures is organized according to the general program of the studies.
