Course contents :  The course focuses on analysis and composition of urban projects. The theoretical part teaches a multi-criteria assessment method, design guidelines and planning tools.
Course objective :  The course objectives are:

- developing analysis abilities.

- learning the design of a city-block project, taking into account the context (urban, programmatic, technical,...).

- developing skills in urban composition.
Workshops :  The exercises include:
* a multi-criteria analysis of a built project.
* a design project on an urbanized site.
Organization :  First semester, on Thursday from 10 am to noon.
Written notes :  The slides accompanying the oral presentation are available in pdf format via WebCT.
Assessment :  The assessment focuses on:

- the multi-criteria analysis,

- the final presentation of the project.
