| Course contents : | This course is dedicated to the study of social and cultural changes inside contemporary societies(occidental as well as non occidental ones) within the context of globalization. |

| Course objective : | To draw a frame of reflection about the main social and cultural changes affecting contemporary societies (hyper individualism, second modernity; new social commitment, new identities...) |

| Prerequisites : | A passive knowledge of English is helpful. |

| Workshops : | Students'presentations (based on books and/or articles) + summaries. |
