"licencié" in biological sciences (zoology), 2nd year4
Holder(s) :  Philippe Compère, Marc Thiry
Language :  Langue française
Course contents :  Partim of M. Thiry
1. cytochemical methods
2. autoradiographic methods
3. immunocytological methods
4. Molecular biology based-procedures adapted to electron microscopy
5. in situ hybridization technique
Course objective :  Partim of M. Thiry (7h30 + 7h30)
To give a sketch of the different approaches of visualization used in microscopy. The nucleus will be used as main model.
Prerequisites :  Goods basics notions in biology, biochimy, cell biology, immunology and animal histology.
Organization :  This teaching is given during the first quadrimester according to an horary that will be communicated in the beginning of term day. The pratical exercices, about the two partims (3 sessions) constitue to illustrate some notions that were saw in the teoretical course thanks to the use of the scanning and transmission electron microcopy, the student is bring along to use himself it. These exercices form the subject of an individuel evaluation that count for 50% of the final cote of the exam.
Written notes :  Partim of M. Thiry
Documents are given in every lesson.
