| Course contents : | The student will be educated by means of a clinical training based on the radiographic and ultrasonographic examinations realized during the day on the patients referred to the imaging service. |

| Course objective : |
- Initiate the students to the diagnostic imaging techniques routinely used in veterinary medicine;
- Learn the principles of radiographic interpretation;
- Learn how to correlate the radiographic differential diagnosis to the clinical findings.

| Prerequisites : | Knowledge of small and large animal anatomy and manual restrain.
A good knowledge of the content of the previous radiology course (2e Doctorat) is essential. |

| Organization : | A clinical rotation is organized at the beginning of the year. The presence at the clinic is mandatory between 8.30AM and 5PM. Each student should be identified by a badge with her/his name and surname. A rotation between the different activities of the imaging service will be organized: radiographic interpretation, radiographic technique in small animal radiology, radiographic technique in large animal radiology and ultrasonography. The students will be divided in 4 groups at the beginning of the week. |

| Assessment : | The evaluation will be done at the end of the clinical week. Students are asked to prepare a list of the clinical cases seen during the week and a detailed report of 2 cases. A written exam will be organised during the session. |
