| Course contents : | Surgical biology : hemorrhage shock, wound healing, woung sepsis, hydric and electrolytic support, nutritional support, post-op complications. Surgical techniques : patien and surgeon preparation, suture, bandages, hemostasis, contention, instruments, sterilisation, wound treatment. |

| Course objective : | To master the basic notions in surgical biology and techniques related to small and large domestic animals. |

| Prerequisites : | Anatomy, physiology, histology taught in bachelor study years. |

| Organization : | The course agenda is communicated at the beginning of the year. |

| Written notes : | Available at the student office. |
 |
| Assessment : | One MCQ type written exam with general implicit solutions is organized during each exam session. |
