Course contents :  Introduction to the concepts relative to the transmission of particles through matter, to detectors and accelerators, to the structure of the nucleus, to radioactive decay, to nuclear reactions, to particle physics and to the standard model.
Course objective :  Introduction to the basic concepts of the physics of nuclei and particles.
Prerequisites :  Basic knowledge of quantum mechanics.
Workshops :  15 hours of laboratory in nuclear physics.
Organization :  The schedule will be distributed at the beginning of the year.

Assessment :  A laboratory exam (1/3) and an oral exam on the lectures (2/3).
