Course objective :  The aim of the lecture is to capture the concepts of Physics from basic examples and experiments. To meet physical phenomena with intuitive explanations and mathematics.
Prerequisites :  Metric system - Volumes, areas and perimeters - trigonometry - Propotions - Algebra - Vectors - Greek alphabet
Workshops :  Examples and problems in the classroom (45h).

Laboratories (15h).
Organization :  The lecture starts in september.

Laboratories are organized in february.
Written notes :  The lecture is inspired from the book Physics for Scientists and Engineers, Serway & Beichner (Harcourt College Publishers, 1999).

Slides of the lecture in PDF files available on the web server of the Professor.
Assessment :  Optional tests during the academic year.
Written and oral examination.
