Course contents :  The controlled release dosage forms represent new generation of drugs which aim to control the kinetics, the duration and even the place of the release of the active substance. After an introduction on the physicochemical and biological factors which influence the design of these new drugs, the course approaches the various mechanisms of release, the techniques of manufacture and ends in the presentation of some applications.
Course objective :  The aim of the course is to provide to the students the various notions applied in the design of the controlled release dosage forms
