Course contents :  This course includes the following topics:

1. Self-learning and e-learning.
2. Problem solving and collaborative learning.
3. Multimedia design, learning and knowledge management.
4. Hypermedia browsing.
5. Multimedia and websites assessment.
6. Evaluation and regulation in training.
Course objective :  Student

  • will have an overview of Information and Communication Technologies products used in a training/learning context.
  • will use models to analyze training products and environments.
  • will use different computerized tools related to the course
    (Internet, CD ROM, email, evaluation software, electronic theatre, "boîtiers de votes", e-learning platforms, ...).
  • will realize personal work.
  • will be able to create presentations on electronic medium (Powerpoint).
  • will communicate with the professor by email for the management of personal work.
  • will bring information ("News") related to the course.
Prerequisites :  
  • PEDA0518-1 Introduction to the sciences of education and training, partim I.
  • PEDA0025-1 Educational Method and Theories of Teaching.
  • PEDA1143-2 Education and Training Technology.
The main prerequisites are presented during the first sessions of the courses.
Workshops :  Practical work deals with the different topics of the course. Some activities are organised at a distance.
Organization :  Courses take place the 2nd term (10 sessions of 3 hours) in CAFEIM.
Written notes :  Course notes are available at the secretary's office.
Assessment :  Assessment deals with

1. Participation in the course.
2. Workshop presentation.
3. Oral exam.

Assessment deals with binding between the different topics of the course, prerequisites and workshop.
