Course contents :  This module consists of the following courses

- Functional neuro-anatomy (J. SCHOENEN)
- Human bio-chemistry (B. ROGISTER)
- Histology (M.P. DEFRESNE)
- General Pathology (Y. HENROTIN)
- Special Pathology (M. FOIDART)
Course objective :  This neurological module aims to make students understand, through a mult-disciplinary approach, the anatomo-functional organisation of the Nervous System and the physio-pathologie of the main neurological syndromes that could benefit from physical treatment.
Prerequisites :  The basics of the anatomy of the Nervous System taught in secondary education and the 'Introduction to Human Anatomy' taught in S2. Electro-physiotherapy (S3), notions of neuro-physiology, biochemistry, histology and the basic principles concerning the movements of the musculoskeletal system.
Workshops :  Neuro-anatomy: Plexus and cranial nerves, eye and ear. Braon dissection.
Organization :  This module consists of 65 hours of theoretical courses, practice and training programmes that are the object of separated modules.

General pathology, human biochemistry: course reading available from the lecturer.

Special pathology: Course syllabus available from Intercopy as far as the first part is concerned and on MyULg for recently updated material.
Assessment :  A multidisciplinary written exam (Multiple choice and open, short response questions and a question dealing with Neuro-anatomy and Special Pathology subjects. This exam takes place at the end of the first quadrimester (January).
