Course contents :  The course is based on a compendium of grammatical notions that are not presented in class but that have to be known in order to do the exercises which take up most of class time. Both grammatical theory and exercises are available in syllabus form. Written examination with multiple choice questions on the same language features as those studied in class.
Course objective :  Aim of the course
1) to revive the basic knowledge in sentence and text grammar,
2) to provide the main facts of the instruction branch generally referred to as "text grammar"

The practical work is composed of two series:
1) exercises prepared at home and corrected during the lessons,
2) regular tests preparing to the final assessment

1) Theory,

and the control tests.
Assessment :  Assessment
1) Continuus assessment all through the year with a remedial aim; the mark obtained at the different levels help the students get a clear idea of their knowledge; the corrections of the exercises and controls inform them about the course they should take to cope with their diffuculties;
2) A "mock" assessment preparing to the official assessment;
3) A written assessment (QCM) with a certifying function.
