Course contents :  The course presents advanced models of production management. It contains the following subjects: aggregate planning models, hierarchical production planning models, inventory control policies, MRP policies, Kanban policies, sequencing and scheduling.
Course objective :  The objective of this course is to deepen student's knowledge about the mathematical models of production management. The course also presents new models and techniques used to manage production and material flows. It will enable students to understand the advantages and limitations of these kinds of approaches for real life applications.
Prerequisites :  LOGI0001-1: Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Organization :  Lectures, readings, group projects (numerical implementations and rapports), oral presentations of articles by students, discussions.

From 16/11/2007 to 21/12/2007 : Friday, from 13:00 to 17:00 at the building N1.
Written notes :  Supports of PowerPoint presentations, book chapters and articles.
Assessment :  Projects, oral presentations, individual participation.
