Course contents :  Reading epic and classic Sanskrit texts and commenting on their grammatical and stylistical features.
Course objective :  Familiarizing with the Devanágarí script. Using Sanskrit dictionaries and grammars. Understanding Sanskrit linguistic features.
Prerequisites :  Introduction to Sanskrit I. Introduction to Sanskrit II.
Workshops :  Preparing the readings. Supervised reading of a transcribed Sanskrit text : Bhavabhûti's Uttararâmacarita.
Organization :  30 h spread out over the second semester. Timetable set with the students. Opening session in September announced on Section notice board. The attendance is obligatory.
Written notes :  Photocopies of Sanskrit texts in Devanágarí.
