| Course contents : | Detailed study of an actual topic in literary and cultural theory: the question of identification and subjectivation as it is seen by various authors working in the postructuralist and/or psychoanalytic tradition and its relevance for the study of literature and culture. |

| Course objective : | Making the students acquainted with reading contemporary theoretical texts. Increasing their capacities to acquire the necessary knowledge on a theoretical subject and the relevant terminology. |

| Prerequisites : | Having a sufficient command of French and English for reading theoretical texts in these languages. |

| Workshops : | Preparation of one or several individual presentations. |
