Course contents :  General introduction to literary theory. Origin and history of the discipline. Survey of the major tendencies and recent developments.
Course objective :  Providing the students with a basic knowledge of the various methodologies in literary studies.
Organization :  Duration and period: 30h of theory in the 1st semester.
