Course contents :  The aim of this course is to discover the opportunities offered by the internet to collect strategic information, to analyze financials in real-time, and to take investment decisions. It covers the key concepts, models and systems that can be used in this area. To assist students in the development of their own information (micro and macro economic dimensions) and decision systems, they are invited to manage a virtual portfolio of investments.
Course objective :  Discover and use the internet as an information, analysis and decision system, specially in the investment area.
Organization :  Lectures, internet-based case analysis and dynamic portfolio management. (LIEGE: Laboratory to Invest Efficiently in Growth Enterprises).
Written notes :  Reading list. Reference internet sites.
Assessment :  Personal involvement. Ambition, reliability and validity of the information and decision system developed. Operational performance of the investment strategy put in place.
