Course contents :  This course covers how to make the best use of the information and the tools available on the internet to make sound investment decisions. It addresses key questions that challenge all investors and managers concerned with the efficient use of their limited cash flows: where to find the best opportunities (information); how to assess the economic value of target companies (intelligence); how to optimize the allocation of available cash (decision); what are the key drivers of success for an investor (control).
Course objective :  Train students to compete in a world investment environment, both as individuals and as managers.
Organization :  This course is designed to be a challenging and time-consuming experiment. Students should expect to study an average of three real life investment opportunities per week. They are required to submit a written justification for each investment / divestment decision. Learning comes from struggling together to make the best investments and to beat the market.

Assessment :  Grading is based on class participation, the quality of the investment / divestment fact sheets and the dynamic performance or the decisions made within the Investment Laboratory.
