| Course contents : | Optional: accomplishment of a dissertation |

| Course objective : | The ojective is the accomplishment of a dissertation in fundamental research. The student must be autonomous and analyze the scientific litterature relative to his dissertation subject. This dissertation will allow to study thoroughly some notions of histology and to understand some functional aspects relative to the experiments. |

| Prerequisites : | General and human histology, general immunology, biochemistry, general biology. |
|
| Workshops : | Laboratory techniques necessary to realize the experimental work. |
|
| Organization : | The student must be present in the laboratory as frequently as possible. |
|
| Written notes : | none |
|
| Assessment : | A jury evaluates the dissertation: presentation, quantity and quality of the work, oral presentation and defense. The dissertation director evaluates the work done by the student in the laboratory. |
