Course contents :  - Assessment of the financial needs of the company.
- Equity capital financing. The investment decision. Techniques (equity capital & subordonnés loans). Public Funding.
- Long- & short-term financing credits. Techniques. Public Funding.
- Short-term operating credits. Techniques.
- Active guarantees (taken by the company) and passive guarantees (given by the company). General points.
- General psychology of the relationship between the company and its professional lenders.

NB : Financial assessment techniques are universal, while funding techniques are different from one country to another
Course objective :  This course will present the theory & practice of corporate financing. Both the points of view of the company and of the loan professional will be presented.
Prerequisites :  FIN 505 Accounting & Finance
Organization :  Presentations, illustrated by examples & exercises.
