| Course contents : | The first part presents the basic notions (risk, factors of risk, typology, risk measures,...) and an advanced overview of societal major risks. The second part presents the risk management process with its four steps: identification, evaluation, mitigation and financing of general and industrial risks.
These 2 parts are the theoretical member of the lecture, achieved in the first quadrimester.The practical member (15h) consists in auditing firms and organizations for their general and specific risks. Students are grouped for this task done in entreprise. |

| Course objective : | This lecture provides the practical tools and the basic theory in risk management from societal and entreprise's point of views. It is focused mainly on pure (casualities) risks, avoiding advanced financial risk management that is studied elsewhere. This part provides the necessary basis to implementing a general risk auditing of an entreprise or organization, performed by teams of students. |

| Prerequisites : | General notions in management |

| Workshops : | Auditing general and specific risks of an entreprise, activity or organization is performed by teams during the second quadrimester.
Special arrangement could be done with students remaining only one quadrimester. |

| Organization : | 30h of Theory + 15h in an entreprise for performing a risks auditing. |

| Assessment : | An oral examination for the theoretical part. The practical part consists in writting a report and an oral presentation given by the team. |
