| Course objective : | The aims are:
- to explain rthe paleoclimate approach. What are the available geological tools or archive? What are the most appropriate dating methods? How accurate are the proposed climate reconstructions?
- To illustrate the natural climate variability over different timescales, since the Earth's formation until the recent climate changes
- to identify the driving factors of climate changes. The influence of human activities will be also discussed through IPCC (Intergovernment Panel for Cimate Change) predictions for the next century climate.
