| Mechanical origins of degradations: effects of temperature, effects of deformations, fatigue, vibrations. Evaluation of existing structures : destructive and non destructive assessment techniques. Repair techniques : links, diaphragms, injections. Repair and retrofitting techniques making use of reinforced concrete, of post tensioning, of steel components, of masonry. |
