| Course contents : | Variability of meteorological parameters. Radiative processes. Applications to thermostatics. General geophysical fluid equations. Theory of the general circulation. Saturation and condensation processes. Atmospheric circulation at large and synoptic scales.

| Prerequisites : | Thermodynamics, applied mathematics and fluid dynamics at a level of batchelor of science with a major in physics and mechanics. |
