| Course contents : | The course aims to illustrate the place of the research in sport and physical activities. It is the starting point of the preparation of the students to research and try to be exhaustive. It proposes them to discover most of the research domains of sport sciences. |

| Course objective : | To prepare students to research project (master thesis). |
 |
| Organization : | 10 sessions illustrating the different steps of a research. |
 |
| Written notes : | A copy of the slides proposed during the theoretical lessons is provided to the students' representative. The same applies with some other documents exploited at the time of the sessions. In addition, the students will have to seek other information, according to recommendations' of the course's leader or his assistants. |

| Assessment : | Open question about the content proposed during the course. |
