Course contents :  The course will comprise 5 lessons dealing with technical and tactical aspects of several individual (gymnastics) and team sports (basketball). The emphasis is also set on the acquisition of competences in task analysis. An integration of the content with biomechanics is planned.



Moreover, 3 to 8 sessions are planned for the presentation of the students' work focusing on the analysis of sports that were not covered by specific teaching sessions. The course leader will offer weekly assistance to the students for the preparation of their work.
Course objective :  - To supplement the theoretical bases and to introduce teaching concepts concerning the sport activities proposed during the practical courses.
- To prepare the students to acquire a systematic analysis' approach of the physical and sport activities.

- To develop their synthesis spirit, their competences with the written and oral expressions.
Prerequisites :  - Basic motor and sport skills (1st bachelor)

- Specific motor and sport skills (Partim I) (2d bachelor)
Organization :  One session is organised per week according to the timetable provided to the students at the beginning of the academic year.
Written notes :  A copy of the slides and documents used during the theoretical lessons is provided to the students' representative. In addition, the students will have to seek other information, according to recommendations' of the course's leader or his assistants.

Students will receive a copy (CDRom) of the works proposed by the group.
Assessment :  The semester 4's content is assessed in June by written exam (opened question concerning all chapters) and is a part of the mark. The second part of the mark comes from the assessment of the work.

Details of the assessment's principles are presented during the first session.
