| Course contents : | First, we study internal labour market characteristics highlighting the role of institutions; second, we describe the consequences of individuals and firms behaviour on aggregated employment; and finally we analyze the macroeconomic adjustment mechanisms at work.

| Course objective : | To familiarize the student with theories that explain market equilibrium, mainly unemployment and inflation, given a particular attention to the role played by bargaining and information process among workers and managers at the firms¿ level. |

| Organization : | Students are expected to actively participate in the course by presenting selected research papers. |
