Course contents :  The Law of obligations is composed of the rules and legal principles on which are based the social and economical relations. The course is divided in five sections : (I) the main section is devoted to the sources of obligations and their legal aspects (contracts, torts, mistaken payments, unjust enrichement and negotiorum gestio); (II)assignment of obligations (with exception to assignement of obligations in Company Law); (III) modalities of obligations (condition precedent,...) ; (IV) termination of obligations (payment, subrogation , netting, limitation of actions, ...) ; (V) legal protection rules of the creditors)
Course objective :  Understanding of the several legal concepts and rules governing the law of obligations and application of these concepts to practical problems
Prerequisites :  Introduction to Private Law
Organization :  Lectures (90 h) and problems classes (30 h)
Written notes :  Syllabus covering the main parts of the course. Syllabus on problem questions.
Assessment :  Written exam in Frist and Second Session (problem questions and theoritical questions). During the second semester, a factice exam will be perhaps proposed to the students.
