Course contents :  The course is divided into three main sections:
A. - The concept of the enterprise and the functions of corporate accounts.
B. - Theory of accounting and of corporate annual accounts.
C. - Belgian (and European) law applicable to accounting and corporate annual accounts.
Course objective :  The course's objectives are to introduce students to a new topic (company law) and to provide them with the basic accounting concepts, essential for all law practitioners. This makes the course accessible to students from other sections (especially political sciences and public administration).
Prerequisites :  Fundamental knowledges in private law.
Workshops :  8 hours at the end of the first semester.
Organization :  The theoretical part of the course is taught during the first semester (11 x 2 hours).
Written notes :  Courses notes are provided to the students.
Assessment :  Written examination (multiple choice, open questions, short essays) organized in january and august.
Copies of the written test can be seen after the meeting of the jury. Students who be failed are advised to meet then with the tutor for additionnal information.
