| Course contents : | The cosmetic products cover a very wide field: they are intended either to maintain, protect or clean cutaneous surfaces, or to make up or remove the face. Their composition is consequently extremely varied, which returns the interpretation of the complex formula. The nature of these components conditions the properties and the quality of these products. |

| Course objective : | The objective of this course is the study of the various components most usually met in cosmetics. The first part of the course is dedicated to general notions concerning synthetic products (moisturizing agents, surfactive agents, preservative agents) and the products of natural origines (wax , lipidic substances, chitosane...). The second part of the course is devoted to the specifical excipients of toiletries, products of care, anti-solar products, capillary products and products of oral hygiene. |
