Course objective :  This course will be devoted to the study of the structure and the functions of the cell, common denominator of the life matter. The modalities of cell multiplication and reproduction will be also described. Finally, we will examine the functional organization of different animal tissues.
Organization :  The theoretical courses will be given in the first quadrimester, the Thursday at 8h30 until 10h30 in the amphitheatre 300 (building B7a)

The theoretical courses will be given in the first quadrimester on Monday at 9h until 11h , in the practical works big room (first floor) in the Zoology institute (Building I1, Van Beneden qai 22 in Liège). Every theoretical courses are followed in the same room by a practical works session where the student examine different histological preparations that illustrate the course.
