Course objective :  The main aim are :
To study the relationships between the cell structure and their functions
To give a general sketch of the structure of animal tissues and organs
To emphasize how the organisation of tissues and organes confirm their functions
Prerequisites :  Basic notions in cell biology and in general histology
Workshops :  Every theoretical courses are followed in the same room by a pratical works session where the student examine different histological preparations illustrating the course.
Organization :  The theoretical courses are given in the first quadrimester on Friday at 9h until 11h in the pratical works big room (first floor) in the Zoology institute (Buil. I1, Van Beneden qai 22 in Liège). Every theoretical courses are followed in the same room by a pratical works session (10h-13h) where the student examine different histological preparations that illustrate the course.

Assessment :  Oral exam composed of the identification of two histological preparations and one theorical question.
