Course contents : Clinical training based on the radiographic and ultrasonographic examinations realized during the day on the patients referred to the imaging service.
Course objective :
  • Lear how to obtain good quality radiographs respecting radioprotection principles ;
  • Learn the principle of image formation and the principles of radiographic analysis and interpretation;
  • Learn how to establish a differential diagnosis based on the radiographic signs;
  • Learn how to write a radiographic report;
  • Learn how to critically choose the right imaging technique for each clinical case;
  • Aquire some basic knowledge in ultrasonography.
Prerequisites : Basic knowledge in anatomy, veterinary radiology and radioprotection.
Workshops : Practical training in film reading and/or practical training on animals will be organized.
Organization : Clinical training. The presence at the clinic is mandatory between 8.30AM and 5PM.
