Course contents : The aim of the course is to describe the male and female reproductive pathologies appearing during the postpartum, reproductive and pregnacy periods in three species : ruminants, equids and pigs. The pathologies are presented in an individual or herd context.

Common trunk

The course is divided into four parts. They concern the pathologies appearing by the female respectively during the postpartum period and the pregnancy period. The third part concerns the pathologies affection male reproduction. The last part is devoted to the herd reproduction management.

This course present in more details some more specific pathologies.

This course is organized on a more intercative way, the number of students concerne being lower.
Prerequisites : The teachings assume a good synthetic knowledge of physiology of reproduction, general and topographic anatomy of the mammary and genital tract of the concern species

The students normally must have followed the common trunk of contents.
Workshops : During the year 2006-007, the participates to two weeks of practical/clinical education. One is devoted to an herd approcach of reproduction problems. The second one is devoted to an individual approach.
