| Course contents :
| Surgical biology : hemorrhage shock, wound healing, woung sepsis, hydric and electrolytic support, nutritional support, post-op complications. Surgical techniques : patien and surgeon preparation, suture, bandages, hemostasis, contention, instruments, sterilisation, wound treatment. | |

| Course objective :
| To master the basic notions in surgical biology and techniques related to small and large domestic animals. | |

| Prerequisites :
| Anatomy, physiology, histology taught in bachelor study years. | |
