Course contents :

		Common part (20 h). The chapters of this section are : air pollutants in animal houses; lighting and sound level; wastes management; climatic characteristics (temperature, relative humidity, air speed) and their effect on animal thermal comfort; isolation, ventilation and heating of animal houses; housing design and equipments for cattle, pigs and poultry housing.

		The chapters of this section are: the housing of horses; the legislations concerning dogs, cats and other pet animals housing and breeding; the legislation concerning laboratory animal housing and protection

Course objective :

		common courses

		This course details the environmental factors influencing the production, health and welfare of farm animals. The course also describes the effects of farm animals on the human environment
