Course contents : This teaching consists of 10 to 15 seminaries given by different lecturers.
Course objective : The aim of the seminaries "Animals and Society" is dual. On one hand, it will give the students a general idea of the main current events of the veterinary science in the world. On the other hand, it will show the various fields where the veterinarians play an important role and will give an overview of the careers prospects, far away from the classical opening of rurale practice or companion animal medicine.
Prerequisites : Nothing
Organization : This teaching takes place during the first quadrimester.

Written notes : Each lecurer will give a brief summary of his seminary or his power point presentation . They will be published by Ulg Editions
Assessment : The examination for seminaries "animal and society" takes place at the end of the first quadrimester, during the session of january. It is a written examination, with general questions, short open and/or QCM type.

The note is given on 20 points but has a ponderation coefficient of 0,5.
