Course contents : After an introduction on the physicochemical and biological factors which influence the design of the drug, the course describes the various pharmaceutical forms used as a therapeutic veterinary surgeon: The liquid formulations(solutions, suspensions, emulsions) the semi-solid dosage forms (pastes, gel, ointments, creams...) the solid dosage forms (tablets, bolus, powders...)
The study of these various dosage forms is approached according to their route of administration (oral, parenteral, cutaneous, ocular, vaginal, otic, nasal...).

Assessment : Written examination in relation with Pharmacology
