Ethology
definitions and the four questions of Tinbergen;
history;
behavioural mechanisms(innate and acquired) ;
evolution of behaviour(domestication effect).
Ethograms
Description of the ethogram of most domestic species.
Complement in ethology applied
Basic knowledge of animal welfare applied to companion animals.
Course objective :
Understanding how a healthy domestic animal is behaving, and how to understand it.
Written notes :
The eventual availability of written notes will be communicated during the course.
