Course contents : This course deals with an important step of a scientific study : the transmission of new data to other researchers. Different forms of scientific communication will be dealt with, with more emphasis on poster presentations and lectures. Each student will have to give one seminar based on a recent scientific publication. The evaluation will take into account the quality of the presentation, the capacity to analyse and criticise the published results, their interpretation, and the perspectives.
Course objective : · Introduction to oral communication;
· Improve capacity to criticise and to summarise the scientific literature.
Prerequisites : No.
Organization : One lecture of 2 hours. The remaining time is used for the seminars.

For the student of the EP, an additional theoretical introduction to bibliography will be given.
Written notes : None.
Assessment : The seminar presented by the student will be evaluated at the level of its technical aspects, as well at the level of its content. The involvement in the discussion of seminars presented by the other students will also be taken into account (max. 10% of the final mark).
